CONFIRMATIONS CLERK - INTERCARE IRENE SUB-ACUTE HOSPITAL.
The purpose of the position is to provide a professional customer service by communicating effectively with the various stakeholders involved in the patient admission process.
- Confirm authorisation for patient treatment
- Ensure updated clinical coding and assist with the case management process as required
- Interpretation and implementation of scheme benefit rules
- Administer pre-admission and admission process
- Administration of the creditors and invoices
- Assisting with reception and admission duties as necessary
- Grade 12
- At least 2 years administration experience in a medical facility
- Understanding of medical schemes and admission processes required
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office / Outlook and have good typing skills
